Humor
Nowhere in the
Mabinoggion does it
say that the Welsh may not laugh at themselves. With this in
mind we present the following humorous morsels for
your delight
and delectation ( or derision
and scorn ). Wehope that no one finds
any of the following material
offensive. It
was never
intended
to be! Crass,
peurile and fatuous yes, but offensive, no!
Wales
has
been plagued by an
infestation of "white mountain rats" or "woolly maggots" for many
centuries. The recent sightings of giant cats on the hillsides ( 'Zombi
Cathod Mawr' in the vernacular ) are believed to be a gift to the
people of Wales from the mighty Merlin who has, of course, been
sleeping in a cave for 500 years (approx) awaiting the call to come to
the aid of his countrymen....

A new craze
is sweeping
the Northwest. Since the medical profession
took to the skies, people are flocking from all over to go "Doctor

the
National Audubon Field Guide series
entitled, "Doctors of the
NorthWest"
is rumored to be in preparation. Americymru approached
doctor-watching
enthusiasts in the field to quiz them about their

Arthur`s
Birthday Bash
Extensive
research by our
dedicated staff of historical
sleuths has
brought to light a collection of long lost medieval photographs, one of
which was clearly taken on the occasion of King Arthur's 21st birthday.
The back of the photo bears the signature of the,
soon to be, Celtic
monarch with the added comment:- "My birthday bash, April
1st 520". The
picture itself features an obviously intoxicated Arthur attempting
to
cut his birthday cake with a broadsword. The table on which
the cake
stands appears to be circular in shape...more.
