The Battle of Bryn Glas (Pilleth) 1402

This was Owain Glyndwr's most decisive victory. The English army under Roger Mortimer
was completely destroyed and its commander captured. Mortimer subsequently married
Owains daughter. This represented a grave threat to Henry IV`s regime since Mortimer had
a claim to the English throne.
